10 years after

4A xavier university high school ateneo de cagayan batch 1997

as captioned above, that is a photo form my 3rd eldest brother's 10th year high school reunion.
i was wasting my time, as always and i came across this photo on my bro's friendster profile.
so it inspired me to write this..
they were still an all boys school then so basically, all of them (in the photo) are males. im not so sure though if he was the brother of mine who had a high school batchmate who went to their reunion completely unrecognized because he was already a "she". ten years after high school and the he became a she. (weng, so i guess you can do it too??)

so i was wondering about how it would be when its already my batch's turn for the reunion. its been two years since we've left the 4 walls of our beloved high school alma mater. a lot has changed. people changed. the school pretty much changed too. the last time i went there was summer last year and being back there was like walking down memory lane and all that drama. but it also felt like it also didn't want me there. like it was asking me why i was there. like i was an alien or something. 4 years of making it my second home and that's what i felt when i visited it after only a year of being away.
i guess it was its way of telling me that i had to move on. high school held so many precious memories for me that its really hard to let it go. actually, im not planning to ever let it go. but i still have to move on.

8 more years till we all gather together again as a class. i mean we have all these mini-reunions but the 10th year reunion is something that's kinda required of us as alumni of the school. so its gonna be a school thing again.
i wonder how it would feel like?
i wonder how everyone would look like?
(the underlying question being how will weng look like?)
i wonder how we'll be able to organize it?
i have a whole lot more of " i wonder"s and its gonna take me another 8 years to answer it.

i sooo miss high school and the people ive shared it with but looking back and seeing now ill ever be able to go back there at all.. not even for one pretentious bit because the people ive shared it with have all changed now. we can't act like our high school selves anymore. they have all matured a bit and everytime i think about that it makes me feel how high school's already such a distant memory.

but then again its not such a sad thought. Those high school memories will always be treasured and then we have 8 years and the rest of our lives to create new ones.

community duty

since murag dugay na kaayo nga wa ko nipost ngari.. (ug wa na juy gapost2x ngari) ako lang ta ni ishare ninyo akong experience.

this was our second community duty but the first time was simply conducting a survey pero maskina, first timers japun mi. as beginners, we have duty for only 2 1/2 days. on the first day, we had our entomological study where we went from house to house to gather "ngoyo-ngoyo" or mosquito larva. wa pa jud ko kasabot sa amo buhaton at first mga several minutes later pko kagetz nga nangita diay mig mosquite larva. haha on the second day, we had our home visit. we'd go to a house and have a lengthy interview about the person's health condition. well actually akong partner ang nag interview jud nya ako tig buhat sa procedures mismo nya musingit lng ko gamay sko makaya ra nga bisaya. haha me and my partner were the only ones assigned to an actual dengue case and kulba pud xag case. dengue, ITP infection, leukemia ug unsa pa 2ng mga sakita. grabe ka complicated. haha on the last day, the best day, it was immunization day so there were sooooo many mothers who went to the health office and we were given the chance to inject the babies. it was like, the real thing. kulba kaayo at first pero once nakasuway, shet lingawa jud dah. haha! we also weighed the babies, got their temperature, etc. akong trabaho jud while waiting for my turn sa injection kay magtake sa BP sa mga tao. nalingaw sad ko ato. mura sad kog true. haha

Naglilinis ako ng aking inbox nang aking makita ang mensaheng ito. Ipinadala sa akin ito mahigit isang taon na ang nakalipas ng dating kaibigan. Punong-puno ng katotohanan ang mensaheng iyon. Dahil ganun nga ang nangyari sa amin.

Kung tutuusin, mas gugustuhin ko pang mag-umpisa ang isang kuwentong pag-ibig na may malisya na ang magkabilang-panig. Yung tipong gusto nung isa yung isa at ganun din yung isa. Iba kasi kapag nagsimula kayong magkaibigan talaga. Yung tipong hindi mo alam na posible pa lang mangyari iyon. Kahit sa guni-guni ng iba ay hindi nila mawari na mangyayari yun. Ang hirap kapag nahulog ang loob mo sa isang kaibigan pero hindi talaga ito imposible. Siyempre, lagi mo siyang nakakasama at sa mga pagkakataong ito ay lalo mo pa siyang nakikilala. Awww… kahit mahirap itago ang tunay na nararamdaman mo, makukuntento ka na lang sa ganun. Eh ganun talaga… Marami namang posibleng mangyari. Magbibigay ako ng iba’t ibang senaryo:

a. Walang mangyayari. Kaibigan kayo tapos yun. Lang.

b. Magkakagusto siya. Hindi nga lang sa iyo. Ang sakit nun tol! Lalo na kung hindi pala kayo talo.

c. May gusto siya. This time, sa iyo na. Dalawa lang yan: Magiging kayo habambuhay o magkakahiwalay din. Ibang kaso pa kapag hindi naging kayo talaga.

d. Aamin kang gusto mo siya tapos may drama kang nalalamang lalayo ka muna sandali para mawala itong nararamdaman mo pero sa totoo lang, hindi mo lang matanggap na hanggang dun lang kasi kayo.

Kahit ano pa man ang mangyari, malaking sugal ang bitiwan ang pagkakaibigan para sa sigaw ng damdamin.

i had a traumatic (psychological) life and death situation yesterday. i never felt so weak and shameful of myself till yesterday. lahi ra gyud. and because the memory is still fresh dili lang sa nako ichika. hehe. *to melmel: i think i can totally relate with you na.

ug karon galabad na akong ulo ug pangita ug pictures of poverty sa web. i know na i can take pictures of it myself kay after all, within reach raman gyud sa ato diri sa Philippines ang "poverty". not that we should be glad about it pero im pressed for time so internet na lang gyud.

anyway, on the lighter side of life, katong friday, nan laag lugar ang uban sa mga ogilvians (i wish na mas daghan tah ato)
ug nikiat lugar lagi mi right after sa MISA. oh diba?

hi! hello! what's up??

Hi guys.... you know naman siguro what happened to me again noh? so like yeah... I am currently "unstable". But I'm recovering... but it would be better sana if I can find time to make chikka with you... ANY OF YOU. It's so hard nowadays to keep myself "stable" because of christmas break. Not much to do, so many idle times.. so many chances to think and be haunted. haaayzz.. kaya, when you are planning to make laag here in CDO, don't forget to call me ha? (088) 8553323. in lieu of my 18th birthday, i have decided to give "drinking" a try. much to my misjudgment or anything of that sort, i chose to do it with my fellow ogilvians here in manila. with the guidance of FR. CRIS FAJARDO, SJ, who refused to be addressed as "FATHER" the entire night. but of course, we couldn't and would not help it but call him "FATHER or FADZ". hehe.

so, it was my first sip of beer and i didn't like it. haha. but i loved the company and the people. naks!
anyway, im trying my best to post the pix and videos in my multiply account but i takes ages and ages so ill try to put some here. after all, this post's predecessor is around two weeks old.

This is jan, larah ang jhoden, the best scary shot I had. This was at the runway... cool ayo!! ^_^

The ever so white, white lady - Danielle. She had difficulty taking her make-up off... though she washed-up, the make-up was still there.. hahaha.

for those who weren't at the party, guess who this underworld bein is. hehe.


The most awaited guest, wenggita with his/her all red costume! with matching glowing sungay! hehehe. :p

The last Activity we had, back stabbing... patterened from what yeye experienced.

and the group picture.. the greatest attendance so far! almost all had really gruesome costume.. I was the make-up artist of lucagbo, maki, bantam, yeye, kating, ed and beki! haha. be scared!!! ^_^

im stranded here sa dorm because its raining hard and therefore i can't proceed to baguio.
in my recent trip to nueva ecija, we had this little game where we ask a question with only 2 choices. we played this with the youth leaders there and their answers were really impressive. so now, ill ask you a question we used that night.
